Minicell Foam Insulation for van floors. 2 lb density. Minicell is fire retardant, UV stable, hydrophobic and offers sound deadening for your application.
Each sheet is 48" x 72". Strips for the corrugations are not pre-cut.
The number of sheets included in each package are:
Two .30" sheets for corrugations, Three .25" sheets for top layer
We have added an option to our packages that contains a layer of 3M TAI insulation. This layer would lay between the corrugations after the strips have been installed and the top layer of Minicell for added insulation. The TAI is 8mm thick.
The sheets for filling corrugations should be cut into strips and glued down with 3M 90 spray or contact glue.
Interior Backing Frame for vent installation, Euro size 400mm x 400mm opening
Frame that is used on inside of roof with our patent pending outside vent adapters for a 400mm x 400mm opening. This frame will not work in the rear-most roof panel in the Ford Transit 148WB regular length. We have shorter strips for that application, https://diyvan.com/collections/roof-vent-adapters/products/ford-transit-inside-rear-support-strips-for-148wb-and-130wb
Provides material for screws to engage as they penetrate the roof metal. Made from expanded PVC so will not rot, mold or absorb moisture which is typically found around the vent. 14" x 14" inside opening and 16.75" x 16.75" outside dimensions. Available in two thicknesses. 1/2" and 3/4". 1/2" thickness is more flexible and will bend to fit curvature of roof if needed. 3/4" thickness is more rigid so will need a thicker bead of adhesive to make full contact with interior roof surface. Multiple frames can be stacked to make up difference between skin and head liner. Also see our framing strips if more space between inside of roof and headliner needs to be filled.
These frames are not contoured to the ribs, they are flat. Actual thickness may vary by - 1/8" due to variations in the material.
Instructions for use: bond this frame to the inside of the roof skin with 3M Windoweld(TM), Sikaflex 221, or another equivalent adhesive. Use thick (1/2 - 3/4 inch) bead of adhesive to make up space between inside of roof and frame so it is level on the bottom Let cure and then install vent. Can be used to help clamp our vent adapters to outside and then later installed on inside as backing frame.
Interior Backing frame is not to be used together with the framing strips that we offer on other listings.
Construction and method of assembly is patent pending.

Vent delete plate. If you have decided to remove your vent fan use our aluminum plate for covering the 14" x 14" hole. Plates are unfinished aluminum. The plate can be painted to match the vehicle. This can also be used right on top of our vent adapter if you installed the fan with our patent pending adapter.
If your hole is in an area where there are ridges this will not work unless it is going on top of our vent adapter.
We recommend using butyl tape or sikaflex to adhere it to the surface. 16 screws are included. Seal the edge with Dicor or the equivalent.
The outside dimension of the plate is 16.25" x 16.25"

Patent Pending adapter matches the contour of the OEM roof so an air conditioner mounts to a flat surface. Prevents distorting the roof sheet metal and can be used as an aid for locating the AC. They are CNC machined out of UV and fire resistant expanded PVC.
The framing strips are expanded PVC and bonded to the interior roof with a thick bead of Window weld. They are more flexible than wood and plenty strong to support the AC and keep it from jiggling. They are essential if the span between the OEM roof beams is more than 18". You will need to cut the longitudinal strip for the bay you are installing them in.
If you order the framing strips they will come in a separate package. AC Adapter Install procedure: We recommend 3m Window-weld or Sikaflex 221 adhesive. Locate and cut the hole. You can use the adapter as a guide to mark the hole. Stay clear of roof supports, obviously. Make a tape line 1/4" beyond the adapter perimeter. De-gloss the area with a Scotch- brite pad. No need to scuff. Just dull the paint. Clean with isopropyl alcohol and let dry thoroughly. Blow dryer if it's wet and/or cold out. Apply a good amount of the Window-weld on the face of the adapter. Then press the adapter down onto the roof until the adhesive oozes out the sides. It's not necessary to clamp. If you do, use a lot of lightly set clamps and spread out the clamp force over the whole surface area. Using the adhesive that oozes out, make a fillet around the adapter with a double gloved finger. Pull the tape within 15 minutes. Cure is fast on outside. Let cure overnight and then proceed with the AC install per the AC instruction. Seal the adapter and onto the roof about 1/2" with Dicor self leveling sealant or Flexseal from the TV guy works well. Good idea to check the integrity and reapply the sealant every so often.
