Subwoofer mounting plate for 10" shallow depth speaker. The subwoofer mounting fits in the first lower wall opening behind driver. The outside surface is flush with the surrounding sheet metal. The panel perimeter attaches to the opening with VHB tape. It is very secure and vibration resistant. The speaker is attached to the panel and a wall panel needs to have a hole to clear the speaker. Material is expanded PVC that does not absorb water and has low resonance to dampen surrounding sheet metal and improve efficiency. Suggest using Thinsulate(TM) to place behind speaker to further control resonance.
Speaker is not included. Most shallow to low depth 10" speakers will fit. Hole size in plate should match or be slightly larger than top mount diameter of speaker. Please contact us if you don't see the appropriate size listed. We will make it custom.
