Sold as a pair. These brackets allow for use of 1 1/2 square aluminum structural extrusions (8020 1503-LS recommended) as roof rails on full sized Transit vans. Unistrut (non slotted aluminum recommended) and aluminum angle stock (1 1/2  or 2" x 3/16 thick recommended) can also be used. Compatible with all roof heights and van lengths. Center to center distance between the rails is 58.5". Cross bars between 8020 rails are 57"  The rails are positioned high enough for a crossbar attached to the inside (not on top) of the rail will clear the center of the roof by 3/8". This provides a much cleaner look from the side. Panels can be mounted at the same elevation as the crossbars and rails with our 2-hole and 3-hole tabs. There are many other options and possibilities for custom rack designs. Please contact us for help designing a solar layout to fit your needs. Then we can supply a complete kit (less panels) for your system.

Finish is black or clear hard anodizing. Some fading due to sun exposure can occur.

All hardware for attaching the rails to the bracket and bracket to van are included. The rails are not Included nor any other mounting accessories for the rails. There is a drawing in the images above that will allow you to determine how long the rails need to be for your van. Please call or write for assistance.

Do no exceed maximum roof loading as recommended by vehicle manufacturer.

Notes for special 6th Tower for Extended van: The OEM tower location on an extended van is quite far forward from the back of the van. This causes a long cantilever if the roof rails are extended towards the rear. This special kit includes a CNC'd pad that is bonded to the roof using 3M Windoweld, 5200 (or equivalent) in the area with two diagonal holes in the roof.  A special tower is then placed on top of the pad and through bolted using one of the holes with larger washer and nut on inside.

80/20 rails are NOT included. Please see separate listing for 80/20 bars or rail kit including brackets, towers and rails.
