- Center to center distance between the rails is 58.5"
- Cross bars between 8020 rails are 57"
- The rails are positioned high enough for a crossbar attached to the inside (not on top) of the rail and will clear the center of the roof by 3/8". This provides a much cleaner look from the side.
- Panels can be mounted at the same elevation as the crossbars and rails with our 2-hole and 3-hole tabs.
- Finish is black or clear hard anodizing.
All hardware for attaching the 8020 rails to the bracket and bracket to the Ford Transit van are included. The 80/20 rails are NOT included nor any other mounting accessories for the rails. Please see separate listing for 80/20 bars or rail kit including brackets, towers and rails.

Notes for special 6th Tower for Extended van: The OEM tower location on an extended van is quite far forward from the back of the van. This causes a long cantilever if the roof rails are extended towards the rear. This special kit includes a CNC'd pad that is bonded to the roof using 3M Windoweld, 5200 (or equivalent) in the area with two diagonal holes in the roof. A special tower is then placed on top of the pad and through bolted using one of the holes with larger washer and nut on inside.
WARNING!
Failure to follow warnings below may allow rack to come loose from vehicle and cause injury or death.
- Do not exceed 40 lbs load on each tower.
- Do not extend any component more than 4" beyond forward or rearward most towers.
- Do not exceed total allowable load by vehicle manufacturer.
- Use all available attachment points on van roof.
- Do not install roof top deck or climb on rack.
- Check and tighten all hardware after 100 miles and every 500 miles there-after.
- Check overall integrity of rack every 500 miles or monthly whichever is more frequent.
If in doubt, please submit rack plans or photos for evaluation prior to final installation or use.
